HOUSEKEEPING ATTENDANT/SUPERVISOR

We are a family-run hotel in Stoke Fleming with exciting plans to develop our product and guest experience. Leaving careers in five-star hotels in London, Myles and Alex moved to the area and acquired Stoke Lodge Hotel at the end of 2023.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning the public and back-of-house areas in the hotel as well as guest rooms
  • Clearing, cleaning and re-dressing guest rooms following departures
  • Refreshing guest rooms during their stays; emptying bins, replacing towels and/or linens, replacing amenities
  • Deep cleaning throughout the hotel in line with SOPs
  • Maintaining the order, organisation and cleanliness of the housekeeping store rooms
  • Empty trash containers and dispose of waste properly
  • Report any maintenance issues to the appropriate department
  • Adhere to health and safety standards

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping preferred; preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
  • Attention to detail and thoroughness
  • Time-management skills and ability to work independently
  • Works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
