Whether you choose our 3-night or 4-night Christmas Escape, everything has been thoughtfully planned to create a memorable and stress-free Christmas with family and friends.
3-Night Christmas Escape – 24th – 27th December | 4-Night Christmas Escape – 23rd – 27th December
23rd December – Welcome to Christmas
3.00pm – Arrive to a warm Devon welcome.
Settle into your room before enjoying mulled wine and homemade mince pies.
6.30pm – In the evening, join us in our restaurant, Wildflower for a three-course dinner; the perfect start to your Christmas break.
24th December – Christmas Eve – Relax & Celebrate
from 8.00am – Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before spending the morning however you wish – explore the South West Coast Path, visit nearby Dartmouth, or simply relax in our lounges or indoor pool.
3.00pm – Our 3-night Christmas Escape package guests arrive.
4.00pm – The afternoon includes a savoury festive cream tea and our annual Christmas Quiz.
6.00pm – As evening approaches, we’ll serve festive nibbles and a glass of bubbly with festive entertainment.
6.45pm – Dinner is a beautifully prepared four-course Christmas Eve dinner, followed by petits fours.
11.30pm – For those wishing to attend, we’ll also provide information about the local Midnight Mass service at St Peter’s Church in Stoke Fleming, only a short walk away.
25th December – Christmas Day
from 8.00am – Wake to a relaxed Christmas morning with breakfast, complete with optional Buck’s Fizz and a present from Santa.
Spend the morning enjoying a festive stroll or Christmas films in the resident’s lounge before gathering for the highlight of the day…
12.00pm – Traditional Christmas Lunch
A spectacular multi-course Christmas feast with all the festive favourites and seasonal trimmings.
2.30pm – After lunch, watch the King’s Christmas Message before enjoying a cosy afternoon in our games room or resident’s lounge, where we’ll have Christmas movies, a selection of board games to choose from, and of course a selection of seasonal hot drinks and festive treats to enjoy at leisure.
6.00pm – And just in case you’re still hungry, enjoy a relaxed evening Christmas buffet.
No cooking. No washing up. Just time together.
26th December – Boxing Day
from 9.00am – Ease into the day with a leisurely festive brunch before enjoying an optional guided walk to Blackpool Sands for festive refreshments by the sea.
Enjoy time at leisure in the early afternoon to explore the local area or get cosy at the hotel.
2.00pm – Indulge in an elaborate Devon High Tea, complete with finger sandwiches, savoury bites, a main dish and of course beautiful cakes and fluffy scones. Our High Tea will be enjoyed with live entertainment.
Our resident’s lounge will continue to offer Christmas movies, board games and seasonal hot drinks and festive treats to enjoy at leisure.
6.00pm – Enjoy a Boxing Day Buffet in the evening, with a selection of festive favourites.
A wonderfully relaxed way to round off the festivities.
27th December
from 8.00am – Enjoy one final leisurely breakfast before wishing you a safe journey home.
